Description
The term "political song", over time, has troubled the scholars of the Greek song, both those who were motivated by their love and passion for the genre, as well as those who dealt with corresponding issues.
At the same time, listening to the notion of "political song," sometimes the actors themselves stand up. Although most refer to it, there has not been a concerted attempt to record its features and a research to develop a more specific definition of it. So, everyone is talking about political song, everyone is talking about it, they are often dense looking for it (especially in difficult and troubled times), but it is not certain that everyone is the same.
Musicologist Giorgos Mizalis, with bibliographic research tools and deep interviews with his protagonists, deals with political song and highlights his timeless presence, the important changes that have set it, but also his impressive role in all aspects of everyday life of the Greek.
