Musician, born in 1951 in Peru, Jesus Castro Balbi is known as one of the greatest contemporary guitarists and holder of the first international awards: Alirio Diaz (Venezuela 1975), Fransisco (Benicasm 1976), Andres Segovia (Palma de Mallorca 1976).

His direct contact with Peruvian music in his youth is evident in the transcriptions of popular Peruvian and Latin-American purposes, which have been loved by the international audience.
