From the early years I began to write music I was concerned with the idea of ​​composing pieces for children. The image of children who sing, is perhaps the most magical in the world of music. The first tracks were written in 1989 ... twenty years ago ...

The poetry of Drosini, Vizinus, Papantoniou and Christosavili helped me to recall from my memory sensitivities that I had isolated with the pictures and smells of my early school years.

The collection of processed municipal songs was created to serve as a material for studying the Kodaly system. Authentic melodies were searched in Samuel Baud - Bovy and George Pachikos' folk songs collections. I chose melodies from the Dodecanese and Asia Minor, areas where my family "keeps".

I do not hide my thrill when I hear children singing my songs. With the sole conviction that I tried with all my knowledge and strength, I want to thank everyone who contributed to this publication.
